Bokaro: A joint team of the district police and the administration seized firecrackers stocked illegally in a store located in a crowded market area in Chas late on Thursday night.
Chas sub-divisional officer Dilip Singh Shekhawat said the raid was conducted around 11 pm on Thursday based on inputs that several shops in Chas Sadar Bazaar were selling firecrackers without valid licence. “The owners of Prabhavati Store did not have licence to sell firecrackers,” he added.
