PRAYAGRAJ: Panic gripped Civil Lines and adjoining areas under the limits of Civil Lines police station on Friday afternoon after a major fire broke out in a flat of apartment.
Chief Fire Officer (Prayargaj) RK Pandey told TOI that two fire tenders took more than two hours to douse the flames. He added that fire broke out at around 2:16 pm at house of one Mini Paulson located at second floor of apartment and fire department had to bring water mouser to control the fire.
CFO also claimed that fire broke out due to blast in compressor of fridge. Fire department team saved lives of four persons who were trapped in the fire.
